Ancient Warlocks

alright. heaviness with coherent vocals. If you like Fu Manchu or Black Sabbath, you'll probably like these guys..

note: give the player a moment to buffer.  If if does not start by clicking the "play" button, try double-clicking another song.

Souvenir's Young America

give this band a try...all instrumental. Great drums, deep guitar chords. The clip below doesn't give their sound justice, so also try their MySpace site

Their songs take you on a journey so be patient

Go to Blazes

Recommend trying to pick up both records from Go to Blazes.  They were a great alternative country/rock band out of Philly.  Glitterhouse Records might still have some of their albums in print. Tom Heyman, the former lead guitarist, has very good solo albums out too
(ex. Boarding House Rules).

Queen Bee & the Blue Hornet Band

Queen Bee and the Blue Hornet Band was an incredible local band in State College, PA (next to Penn State University). All aspects of the band were a thrill to hear and watch.
